Basic Discord Bot
Hey I'm BDB.I am the upgraded version of an older bot called QOTD bot, I come equipped with more commands that the older version of the bot. I am also now upgraded to the newest version of discord.js , so I now used slash commands instead of having a prefix to a message. There will be more added to the bot in the future
Newest Updates:
- Made qotd command easier to use without setup
/help <channel> <question>- Welcome message is now gone, will come back eventually once code actually works- Changed userinfo command to profile command. This command displays a user's username, discriminator, id, join date, roles and level- There should be no downtime with this bot unless updates are taking place, or host is down
Future Updates:
- Will be adding an announcement command which will allow you to create server announcements if you have ADMINISTRATOR permissions- Will be adding some commands that require a prefix as before- Possibly adding an option to add your own welcome message once welcome message has been released- Possibly adding moderation commands in the future
Current Commands:
Command: /help
Description: Displays a list of the current commands.Command: /level [<user>]
Description: Displays a user's level in the server.Command: /ping
Description: Displays the latency of the bot.Command: /profile [<user>]
Description: Displays a user's profile.Command: /qotd <channel> <question>
Description: Sends a QOTD into a specific channel of your choice.
Permissions: ADMINISTRATORCommand: /questions
Description: Displays a list of possible questions that you can use for the qotd command.
